Prototype Clarinet Mouthpieces

For years I have been designing mouthpieces by creating prototypes. These prototypes are circulated among a select group of excellent clarinet players for their comments. When I finish development of a certain model of mouthpiece, like my CXZ_K11*, I box up the prototypes and set aside all my notes for later reference.

By now, I have more than 50 of these prototypes. Admittedly, some of them are, shall we say, “not ready for Prime Time.”

But some are amazingly good mouthpieces. I never sold the prototypes, as they had makings and engravings which don’t match the final “packaging” of the new product.

However, it seems silly for some of these great mouthpieces to sit un-played. So, I am making the really good ones available at a greatly reduced price. Here’s a few to consider. They are all available at $99 per mouthpiece, with a two-week trial:
